Synergen Research
Synergen is an effective herbal mixture that combats the symptoms of chronic respiratory problems, especially in older people. It contains Scrophulariae, Rehmannia, Psoraleae, and Epimedium. Over 60% of individuals with seasonal respiratory conditions have immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels that are remarkably high. When an allergen attaches to a cell's IgE, the cAMP system is triggered. Histamines are then released and symptoms such as coughing, runny nose, allergic reactions and shortness of breath arise. Synergen adjust the hypothalamus - pituitary adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) system to increase target cells' cAMP and beta-receptor function. It also reduces the IgE level and stops histamine release.
A five year study on 1,000 asthma patients, mostly older, showed that 69.8% of them demostrated an increase in recovery when Synergen is taken before an allergy sensitive season. Middle-aged and elderly people who frequently get respiratory conditions during the winter will benefit the most by taking Synergen ahead of time.
J Blair, ND from NJ, has a 45 year old male patient who had a cough and lung condition for months. After taking Synergen and Bamboo Extract for 3 days, the cough disappeared. A month later, his lungs cleared.
