Botanical Name: Jasminum grandiflorum
Origin: Egypt/france

 

Description: Called the "king of flower oils" has always had a reputation as an aphrodisiac. It is antidepressant, antiseptic, emollient and sedative. Possible remedy for severe depression, it has been known to calm the nerves. Helps to relieve spasms of the bronchi and calm irritating coughs.

Scent Characteristics: Sweet, flowery, exotic aroma.

Distillation Method: A concrete is produced by solvent extraction. The absolute is separated from the concrete with alcohol, then is steam distilled.
